Child Safety Standards

These standards describe how halomap addresses child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Audience

• halomap is a location-pinned public chat app for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13.
• Users under 13 must not create an account or use the service.

Prohibited content and conduct

• We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, grooming, and any sexual content involving minors.
• We also prohibit illegal content, harassment, and sharing others’ private information, as described in our Terms of Use.

In-app reporting and blocking

• Users can report people or content they believe violates these standards or the law.
• Users can block other people so their content is hidden for them.
• For child safety concerns, use in-app report tools where available, or email the contact below.

How we respond

• We review reports of prohibited content and may remove content, restrict accounts, or suspend access.
• Where required by law, we report child sexual abuse material and related exploitation to appropriate regional or national authorities (for example, via established reporting channels such as NCMEC CyberTipline where applicable).
• We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities regarding CSAM and child exploitation.

Compliance

• We aim to comply with applicable child safety laws and Google Play’s child safety standards policy for social apps.
• These standards may be updated as our tools and legal obligations evolve. The date above shows the latest revision.
